BAILWAY SMASH IN FRANCE
FORTY-TWO PERSONS INJURED

LONDON, iDecemTber 6. _ A sensational railway smash occurred to-day at Argenteuil. in the Frencix Department of Seine-et-Oise. Through one of the couplings of a passenger train parting seven coaches broke away and dashed into a train bound for Nantes. Although no lives were lost, 42 persons were injured, some seriously, and the permanent way and & quantity ot rolling stock were wrecked.
