The Inter-Stato' Commission, ißill introduced in the House provides that three Commissioners shall investigate from time to tim® anything requiring enquiry in the pußlic interest, such as foreign markets, the price of commodities, unemploymerit, immigration, control of rivers, etc;" The Chief Commissioner receives £2500 per annum, and the other two £1000 and'travelling expenses. The appointment Ts for seven years.
