WANGANUI PRESBYTERY.

A meeting of the Wanganui Presibytery was held yesterday. Pri&ienit: — Rev A. Doull (Moderator), Revs Evans (acting clerk), J. D. MeKenzi'e, A. Martin, G. Budd, R. Mackde., J. A. MoKenzie, J. A. Thomson, A. r <IX>t.w-i\ A). Calder, J. Chishiolm, and a tnuimiber of elders, including Messrs Roobell', Oobtell, Parik'es, MeKenza©, Gruady, Hiaase, Sutherland, P. JBell, and J. C. OBirechin. Professor Hewiteon was asßociated. Apologies for absence were tread from the Rev MeOully amd Messrs Williams and R. K. Simpson. On the motion of the Rev Budd,' seconded by the Rev J. D. MoKe/nzi©, the Rev J. A. MeKenzie (Shannon) was elected' Moderator for the eneuiing six monthe. The Clerk reported that Mt W. R. Hutoheson had passed his ' exilfc examination. The R.evs J. D." MoKenzie.
