A bank draft of £40.000, found at Plymouth, purports to be drawn upon tho Bank of New South Wales in favour of a Charles Harcourt, of Sydney.

Tho draft has been declared irregular in form, and no transaction is recorded in tho books of tho London branch.

Officials of tho Bank of New South Wales in Sydney declare that they could not possibly know anything concerning the draft, even if it wae genuine. The wholo thing, they think, is a joke.
