F KRCI VAL'S PICTURES

Last evening there was another excellent attendance at the Opera House, when "Dante's Inferno" was shown for the last time. To-night there will bo a partial change in this fine programme to makeun for tho "Inferno" film. Included m the new pictures are two ■excellent -cinematographic gems—"Love Hath Wings" and "The Birth Mark." The remaining pictures are excellent studies. "Heaven Avenges" is a really striking Biograph film. "Love Wins m tho End," as produced by the Hepwix Co., is a splendid film of an intensely dramatic nature. Two really splendid" sconics evolve from " Falmouth to Thutagel" "Scenes in Brittany." An excellent set of laughtermakorr, nr o "Arabella's Rival" and 'Don't Touch It," the latter a' good Clarendon film. To-morrow eveninothere will be another splendid change or programme. •

THE NEXT "CHRONICLE." U^nganui will obtain one of the best advertisements it has yet secured per medium of Percival's Animated Wanganui Chronicle, No. 3 issue, taken by the Dominion Film Co. It will include the Labour Day Snorts, Monday's record holiday crowd on Castlecliff "beach arrival of tho U.S.S. Co.'s "Karamu" (the largest steamer that has entered tho port), the Avenue on a Saturday, and a busy day at the wharf, Haydn Beck before leaving for Brussells. :>M Timers' football match, and the monument just erected to the memory of Major Kemp. >
