At our usual monthly sale on Friday. Sth instant, we offered a: large cataloguo of all classes to a good attendanco of buyers, and all lots met with exceptionally keen competition, and realised tho following satisfactory prices:—
Wool.—ln sympathy with the late sales, prices showed a decided increase f>n our last offering. Locks and pieces 4d to s|id, inferior dead to 6d, crutchings sid, 6 7-8d 3 7£d to B£d. . ■:■- ■'. . •..;. .... - ■
- Sheepskins.—These ■ also realised an advance on last sale's rates. Crossbred wools 43d, dead hoggets 4|d, hoggets sd, lambs s^d, coarse crossbred 5-Id tp GJd, medium crossbred to 6^d,'half dry crossbred at each, 4s 7d, 6s, to 6s Id; half; dry .lambs at each, Is Bd, crossbred, green, at each, 4s lid,to 5s 6d, Baited lambs at each, Is 7d, salted pelts at each, Is 3d-to ,1s Bd. .;
Hides.—The for these was> exceptionally keen and-prices all round shower! considerable advance, viz.-*-.
