HUNGARIAN HORROR WEALTHY MAN MURDERED

VIENNA, June 7. The accidental discovery of some human bones in Grosswardein. one of the oldest towns in Hungary, has brought to light a'_ ."gruesome murder. : ,--• : Tho victim of the. tragedy was a wealthy Hungarian, M. Filipos. . Although- he had not been seen .by his friends for some time, no significance was attached to the circumstance, as

it was generally supposed that he was away in Egypt on business. This nvas the story that his wire tola all the friends of the family, but as a matter of fact the man had not gone abioad, and it was only by, the merest chance that the foul crime of which he was the victim'has now been revealed. Some children <whilo playing discovered in a dog kennel several bones, which were readily recognised as those of a human* being. S ■ . ■ . The police, of course, were apprised of the discovery, and their inquiries have resulted in the arrest of Mme. Filipos and her estate manager, one Sipos, with whom the woman was madly in love. .. It now turns out that M. Filipos was murdered in his sleep. The crime was a singularly atrocious one, for the man's head was cut off and buried in a wheat.bin, while his body was thrown tc some ravenous dogs. Mme. Filipos and her lover have been charged wJth the murder, and are now awaiting theic trial..
