WANGANUI TROTTING CLUB.

A full meeting of the committee of the Wanganui Troting Club was held last night, Mr C. E. Mackay being in the chair. All final arrangements were •completed in connection with the forthcoming .meeting on Thursday and Fri-day-next. v

Reports.—'Reports showed that Mr T. Nixon would have charge of the licensed booths; thatDustins, Ltd., would run the tea kiosk; that the Garrison Band would play; that the trams would stop outside the raceeonirse; and that on Friday the north train would be delayed an hour,and a passenger car attached to the South goods train leaving at 5 p.m.

The Secretary sand he regretted that under amended ml© he had no option but to notify the owners that their horses could not compete at this meeting, as their registration had not reached the Secretary of the Trotting Association prior to the date of nomination.

Dcbarah. —The Secretary read two telegrams from the owner of Debarah asking why his horse's name was omitted from the list of acceptors, and stated that he had never received the letter, said to have bci?n posted last Monday notifying acceptance, v Stewards and Committee.— Resolved that all members of the committee and stewards meot on racecourse at 12 noon on Thursday next.
