SCOTT'S ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION

Messrs Mcars and Bruce, members of Captain.Scott's expedition, have arrived by the Prinz Waldemar, with 19 ponies and SB Siberian dogs. They intend to rest two months at Lyttelton, until tho Terra Nova arrives there.

They state that McMurdo Sound will foa the base, but there will be another base a hundred miles further east. The ship will not remain in the Antarctic, but will return to New Zealand, going back to tho Polnr regions in the following1 Slimmer. They expected to be absent about three years.
