The Lyceum Theatre was packed in -aill parts on. Saturday afternoon, when -the usual weekly matinee was given by Hayward's Pictures. The prize-winners v -were Alice Christian and Mabel Williams, both of Queen's Park School, vAid Master J. Beard, Atkinson's School The evening performance drew anrther good attendance, when the programme ■was presented for the last time. This

evening another complete ch.-vn'ge of pictures^ will be presented. The star ■ picture is an historical one of the classic series, entitled "Fouquet," in which TVlons. Alexandre and Mile. 'Yvonne Mirval, of the Comedie Francaise are ihe principal characters. This film was taken on the actual scene of the events so graphically reproduced. The story ■of Fouquet's intrigue with the be;aitiful -mistress of Louis XIV., Mile. 'Je la Valliere, r.nd the King's vengeance in having his rival incarcerated" with an iron mask over his head is familiar to fill, and it affords a most dramatic tiieme for this admirable production, ■which deserves special attention The scenic films include a visit to "Biskra," scenes in Northern Venice, and another serial of the Paris floods, showing tho district after the floods had subsided.
