From the Ohakune Station Progress sive Association, re the lighting of tJfer--street lamps.—Matter satisfactorily dwilt with. The matter re purchase ef a fire-engine was held over to ascertain*terms and lowest price. The Minisferof Kcads' letter dealing with the mamtenanco of the Main Road to the Station evidently confused this road wf£&Miro Street, and the clerk was fir— strutted to draw the Minister's attention to this.

A letter was received from one of tire--agents for the proposed £13.000 loanstatins: that lie wished the Board" te-~ apply for information instead of tire* Board's solicitor.
