FREEMAN R, JACKSON AND CO.'S HORSE FAIR.
On Saturday, 13th inst., at our horse sale, we offered 160 horses of all classes. The attendance was good, several ontsido buyers being present from Auckland, Feilding, Hawera, etc. Bidding was spirited throughout,' and the bulk of the horses were quitted at satisfactory prices. Draughts with trial in harness, also unbroken draughts and half-draughts in good demand. We quote:—Best draughts £25 7s 6d to £31 10s. medium draughts £19 10s to £24, half-draughts £16 15s to £18, unbroken half-draughts (stood) £18 10s to £22 us, medium "da. £12 to £14 los,
hacks £6 to £11 15s, hacks (broken) £8 10s to £12 os, medium do. £4 los to £8 2s Gd, others £3. to £4, springtrap horses £13. 5s to £17 10.3, buggy horses £7 os to £10 os.
