UPPER WANGAEHU ROAD BOARD.
The ordinary meeting of the above board was held at the Clerk's Office, Tailiapf\> on Saturday last. Present: The chairman and Messrs Collier, Pedersen, Broaclley, Bremmner, Goodrick, Bell, and Doherty (clerk). Correspondence re general rate was loft over till next meeting.
Messrs Bremmner and Goodrick. were appointed a sub-committee to deal with tho matter of approach to bridge at Mr Walter Williams'.
On the motion "of Mr Bradley, seconded by Mr Goodrick, it was resolved —That tli9 Board purchase a road grader. Mr Pedersen imported on the completion and passing of Bain's bridge. —Report adopted. On the motion of Mr Pedersen, seconded by Mr Collier, it was resolved — That a portion of the road from Stubbin's House to Carlson's Gate be repaired jointly by the Waimarino and Wangaheu Boards.
Accounts were passed for payment amounting to £48 17s sd. The Board went into committee, and on resuming-reported that Mr E. J. Titter had been appointed to the position of Foreman to the Board.
