OWNERSHIP OF PAISANO

WELLINGTON, August 15.
The published rumour that the joint interest in the racehorse Paisano was registered late is denied by Mr G. B. Oman, part owner of the horse. Mr. Oman states that he bought Paisano about three years ago, and the ownership was registered as between him and I). J. Barry, Mr Oman produced a telegram from Mr Wanklyn, Secretary of the Racing Conference, reading as follows: "Partnership to Paisano, registered in tho names of Barry and Oman, h to expire on Ist May, 1912. "
