N.Z.L. AND M.A. CO.'S REPORT.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agonoy Co., Ltd., report as follows :—
We offered and sold at to-day's sale about 30 bales, and 21 bags of wool, 1,500 skins, 150 hides, and a quantity of tallow. Buyers attended in good numbers, mid domr/etitiion was brrs at late rates, with crutchings perhaps a little higher. We quote :— Wool.—Crossbred, linforior. 6id to Old per lb, crutchingrs, medium sjd toGd, do. inferior and seedy 3d to od, bellies and pieces 3d to s^d, lambs 74d. Sheepskins.—Crossbred, medium 7|d to Sjd. coarse C|d to 7^d, do. quarter to half woolled 4^d to 6Ad, dead and broken skins 4-? dto 6]d, lambskins, woolly 7d to 7^d. do. shorn 4^d to 6d, green skins 2s 6d to 7s 9d each. Hides.—Were lower by l-8d per lb. We quote: Cow and light ox sid to o?d per lb. faulty and dry hides 2fd to sd. calFskins, sound 8 l-Bd. do. damaged 4|d to 6Jd.
