INTERVIEW WITH THE
GOVERNOR

M. Riicard, Governor of Noumea, has arrived en route from France to Nour>iea. He was visibly amused when he read the account of the recent ferment duo to his policy and administration. He states that i?e hacl mapped out a plan of action, and was returning to give effect thereto, with the French Government's* approval. He is optimistic regarding the future.
