DALGETY AND COMPANY, LTD., HUNTERVILLE SALE.

At our Hunterville sale on Tuesday, the 12th inst., a very good yarding of cattle came to hand, all of which sold

exceptionally Avell. Quotations: Small AA-eaners to £2 2s, mixed yearlings £2 15s 6d to £3 Is 6d, empty store coavs bo £3 2s, backward dairy cows £4 10s, dairy heifers to £5 7s 6d, light fat coavs ! to £4 los, 2-year steers to £4 los, 2^-yr . steers to £5 os. ! A line of 22 mother-fed Shorthorn weaner heifers, sold on account of Mr J. Bull, Junr., realised £2 14s, and 35 ir-othcr-fed AA-eaner steers, offered on ! same account, met AA'ith keen oompeti- . tion, and Avere knocked doAvn at £3 13s. : An exceptionally nioa pen of 23 wellbred 3-year Shorthorn steers, sold on account of Mr J. Barthorp, Silverhope, realised £6 lls 6d. A quantity of sadj dlery, produce, etc., sold at full rates.

Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Hunterville sale :—Fair yardings of both sheep and cattle of only medium quality came forward, and did not meet with a very brisk sale, but aa-c managed to quit the AA'hole yarding, Avith the exception of one pen. Sheep: F.m. ewes in lamb /s 3d, 9s, 10s 6d to lls, f.f.m. eAves in lamb lls Pd, mixed hoggets 6s, 9s, 10s Id, lls sd. Cattle: 3-year steers £5 os, 2£-year steers £4 5s to £4 10s, mixed wea'ners oos, fat coavs £4 10s.
