A meeting under the auspices of the Knox Club, at Edinburgh, at which tho Hon. '". Agar-Robprtes, M~P., the Duke of Cornwall, and Lord Primrose, M P. for Wisbech, were the speakers, strongly condemned the alteration oi the accession declaration.
The Nonconformist Parliamentary Committee, tho Wesleyan Committee on Privileges, and the United Protestant Society have also severally made representations to the Government against the new form of declaration.
