MINE OWNERS DETERMINED. (United Press Association—Copyright! I ..;. ■ SYDNEY,- March 9. It is stated that the mine owners have forwarded a letter to Judge Scholes definitely : stating that they are not prepared to agree to a settlement on the lines suggested by Mr Charlton; and that so far as they are concerned negotiations are at an end.
Judge Scholes declined to make any announcement on the subject.
