At the Rifle Association dinner, General Hoad proposed the toast of the New Zealand tearou He said New Zealand and Australia would stand shoulder to shoulder in the trenches for the integrity of the Empire.
Colonel Hughes, of Wanganui, who is in command of the New Zealand team, in responding, thanked the New South Wales people for th.V good time the New Zealanders had had in New South Wales. He hoped to see Australian teams competing in.New Zealand in the Empire match.
