WELLINGTON, October 15
Tho conference of delegates of Socitics for the Promotion of Health of Women and Children was opeaed today. The chairman, Dr. Truby King, in his inaugural address, explained that this Association was really a health society. Its object wasto induce mothers to conform as closely as possible to nature's laws in the care of themselves and their children. Tho aid of Plunket nuiv;es was now being largely invoked.
The Congress is not open to the Press.
WELLINGTON, October 15. The conference of the delegates from the Societies for the Promotion of the Health of Women and Children closed' to-day. The name of the Sccietv was changed to "The Society for the Health of Woine'i and Children."
The next conference will bo held at Dunedin in March.
