A couple., of tailor-macie costumes ai present pn view in Messrs Carrad and Howe's windows are attractingvconsiderable attention. Both are excellent examples of high class work, *jut onemade of pink material —is particularly beautiful. Mr McSkimming is to be congratulated .on the costumes, which stamp him as a master of his craft. The beautiful residence at Balgownie belonging to Mr Gurr, is to be sold tomorrow, Wednesday, by Auction. The sale will be -conducted by Mr J. H. •Keesing at; 1.30 p.m. The sale of superior furniture and effects will be commenced at one o'clock.
A charming house on Taylorville Terrace, just over the <bridge, is advertised for sale on page 6 by Mr John D. Breclrin.. He also has several houses to let, one of 7, rooms near hospital (at 22s 6d) and another at Sedgebrook (at 12s).
R. H. White and Co. had another record day on Saturday and no wonder, for; the bargains are so pronounced that even the children exclaim: " Oh, how cheap!" Don't fail to make an early visit to this gigantic money-rais-ing sale. *
