BUSINESS NOTES.
This day at No. 19, River Bank, Messrs Williams and Harper will sell by auction, on account of Mr Brewer, who is giving up housekeeping, the whole of his valuable furniture and effects. If you are about to furnish you cannot do better than attend the sale. Everything is practically new. The sideboard is a really fine one, with four largo mirrors. In fact you will find tho furnishings of a complete household. The sale starts at 1 o'clock.
Farmers are notified that Messrs Jackson and Co. will offer some firstclass forward bullocks at their Wanganui sale on Wednesday next.
Mr J. L. Stevenson, local agent for the Tyser Line, Limited, advises that the s.s Star of Scotland has been delayed in Gisborne, and in consequence she will not arrive at this port until Wednesday morning next.
