Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having held their fortnightly sale of wool, skins, and hides yesterday, when they offered a large catalogue of all classes to a large and representative attendance of buyers. Prices Avere as follows: —

Wool. —Prices were slightly easier, showing a decline of .from par to ad for fleece and for crutchings, as follows: —Ha If bred BJd", crossbred 6^l to 7^d, crossbred dead 6i-d, lambs 6Jd to 7]d, lambs seedy od to o£d, lambs sliped B^d, pieces 3d to o|d, locks 3d, crutchings 3^l to 6d.

Sheepskins.—Prices on a par with last sale, an extra heavy line of green renUsing 9s 3d each. Crossbred 6d to 7id, crossbred short od to s|d, do. broken and damaged 2£d to sid, dead 4Jd, black 3£d, merino inferior 3d to 4|d, pelts 3£d to 4|d, pelts damaged 2]d, lambs 6sd to 7d, lambs inferior 5d to s^d, crossbred green extra heavy 9s 3d, heavy 6s 4d, crossbred damp heavy os 3d to 6s 3d, light 3s, crossbred salted 3s to 5s sd, shorn lambs damp 3s Id to 3s 4d.

Hides. —Prices on a par with last sale. No prime heavies offered. Calfskins realised up to 9|d. Prices were as follows : —Ox heavy sloppy up to 6£d, medium 6d to 61d, light 4 7-8 dto s£d, slippy 4^d, cow medium 4^d to Sid, vv.i and slippy 4Jd to 4 7-Bd, dry sd, blll3 4d to 4 l-Bd, slippy 3Jd, yearling 6 l-Bd, calf best 8d to 9ld, medium 6id to 7£d, inferior 5d to 6 l-Bd.

Horshair.—ls S^d per lb. Tails.—ls 2d per doz. Tallow.—ln casks 24s 9d, in tins 21s, rough fat 16s.
