Constable Daubney, stationed at Woodhaugh, was stabbed both above and below the left ear to-night when arresting a man named 'Michael Coleman on a charge of drunkenness, and using obscene language. A temporal artery was severed, and the constable lost a quantity of blood before a doctor arrived.
