Mr Pete Curran, M.P., commissioner, when opening tho Federation of Trade Union's Congress at Blackpool, recommended a fair trial of the Government Labour Exchanges scheme.
Mr J. Seddon, M;P. y eulogised the miners for settling their differences with their employers. He added: "The sooner the Trade Unions outside the Federation joined the better, so as to enable the concentration, of c.'vy.ital in the Federation to meet the attack of organised capital outside,"
