MELBOURNE, July 1
The Federal revenuo for the year is £14,350,460, a decrease of £643,014. Customs and Excise yielded £10,843,----493, and the Post Office £3,410,000.
The expenditure was £6,420,000. The total amount returned to the States was £7,930,350, a decrease of £928,050, but in the meantime the Commonweal Hi has taken over and earmarked portions of the returns for old age pensions.
