WELLINGTON, June 10. „ At the meeting of the Management Committee of the N.Z. Union" to-night/ the secretary said he had received a telegram from the West Coast Union, askirig if F. Jackson, a member of the ; Anglo-Welsh team which toured; the Dominion last year, was eligible to act as referee in a match next Saturday. After consultation with the chairman, he liad replies that there Mas certain evidence that Jackson was under suspension by the English Union,,and it would be inadvisable to allow him to act. Considerable discussion took place, some members urging that this Union had no official information of Jack'son's suspension by the English Union. It was decided. to telegraph, that Jackson could take no nart whatever in N.Z. football. Inquiries as to Jackson's posi-- ■ tion-' are. .tq be made from the English Union.
