WELLINGTON, June 11. ' The revenue account of the accident branch.of the Government Insurance Department was laid before Parliament to-day. It shows that the premiums , paid during the year ended 31st December last totalled £20,897, and the claims paid amounted to £11,926. Salaries cost £2901, and the expenses of management are put down at £713. The amount of the- accident funds at the end of the year was £9598. The assets include mortgages on property (£4O,QSO) and cash in hand and on current 'account £1082.
