AUCKLAND, April 15
A large number of Maoris are assembled at Huntly, the object of the meeting TSeing to facilitate ■'* the settlement of unoccupied native lands under tjhe provisions of the new Act, by which one third remains in the possession of the natives, one third is leased, and one third is sold. "King" Mahuta «nd Henare Kaihau are' the leaders of the movement; Mr Ngata and Dr. Buck, M.P., wijl arrive to-morrow, and the business of the jmeeting will not commence till { then. ' .
