TOWN CLERK'S ANNUAL REPORT.

In his annual report presented to the Borough Council last evening, the Town Clerk stated that the debit balanco had increased during the year from L 6158 14s to 1,674-) 15s iod. The gasworld showed a gross profit for the year of £1543 12s lOd. The tramway account shows a credit balance of £811 19s lid, but no charge has been made for interest, this being payable but of the loan. Tho interest and sinking fund on the total loans would bo £825.
