(Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, March 27. Oscar Kossub was brought before Mr Wkldowso'rij S.M., yesterday afternoon, charged with escaping from prison at the Heads on the 19th inst. His Worship convicted the prisoner and ordered him to bo fed on broad and water for seven days and, in addition, to forfeit 723 marks—the number of marks neces-
•stiry under the regulations to entitle " him to 91 days' remission of sentence. Kossub will 1)3 brought before the ■Court at a later date charged with breaking and entering the house !of James Dick and stealing therefrom a quantity of wearing apparel.
