EASTEft TOURNAMENT
There is every indication of the first Wanganui Lawn Tennis Tpurnament being a big success. Entries are coming in from players of note from all over the Dominion. The recent rain has imprpved the courts wonderfully. : The Queen's Park Club have: been nursing one Court weekly, and finally close the whole four courts next Saturday so as to give them : a week's spell for preparation prior to the tournament. ■';'■:• Local players will greatly assist the committee" by entering early.
