BURNED TO DEATH.

INVERCARGILL, November 9. Charles Dean, an old pensioner, who lived alone in a house at East -Winton, was burned to death on Saturday night or Sunday morning. Early on Sunday morning it wa.3 noticed that Dean's house was a smoking ruin, the body beting found among the debri3. Dean, who leaves no family, was the husband of the notorious baby farmer, Minnie Dean, who was hanged some years ago.
