, WELLINGTON, Sept. 4. The Council met at 2.30 p m LAW PRACTITIONERS AMENDMENT BILL. ~ moved the committal of th 3 Law Practitioners Amendment Bill. Tll c + wn\, Rig^-,m?ved an amendment that the Bill be referred to the Statutes Committee. The Hon. Kelly, esconded the amendment, which was negatived, and the tfill committed. A new clause was inserted to make the Act inoperative in the case of every person who has been admitted as a solicitor before the passing of the Act. or who is admitted as a solicitor before December 31st, 1911 lne Bill was reported PASSAGES OF BILLS. flic Oamaru Harbour Board Loan Bill and the Waikohu County Bill were passed. The Council adjourned at 4.45.
