A COMBINED PROTEST.

The "Daily Mail's" Berlin correspon-' dent asserts that manufacturers in various countries have initiated a crusade against the British patent law. It is hoped that the countries will mutually enter into favourable patent treaties with a view to isolating Britain and bringing her to "terms.
