TESTATOR'S FAMILY MAINTENANCE ACT.

CONNOR v. PUBLIC TRUSTEE. This was an action by Lily Connor, of Wanganui. v .widow, under the Testators Family Maintenance Act j against tho Public Trustee/ as trustee iinder the will of her late husband, M. The life insurance money was mortgaged to the New Zeilav:d *L~anand Mercantile Co with other of his property, and the Company had rteeived the money, snd were at p-esent holding same.' The questions arose ps to whether the policy moneys were adequate and whether the wife was entitled to recover them from the Loan and Mercantile Company. His Honour heard argument by counsel .in the action^ and stated thabthere wore several questions nri&in,<r oub of the suit and that ho would take time to consider his decision.
