HOROWHENUA v. WANGANUI

TO-DAY'S MATCH.

The. above representative; match will take, place this afternoon oh Cook's Gardens at 2.3a o'clock. The visitors arrived last evening, and are staying at the Criterion Hotel. ' As Horowhenua are a ye.ry strong combiriatioii,. and, Wanganui will also be strongly represented, a good game is assured: Given a fine afternoon there should be a large attendance. The following are the teams:—

Horowhenua (black arid white).—Goalkeeper, C. Ryder; full-backs, A. Smart and F. Whareo; halves, O. Ransom, F. J .Dewdney, V. Malcolm; forwards, B. Ferguson, C. Wilson, W. H. Wilson, L. Kilminster, and A. Anderson. Wanganui (red and black).—Goalkeeper, 'Miller; -full-backs, Havdwicke and A. O. At a meeting of the Wanganui Hockey Association held last night Mr Geo. Larking was appointed manager of the team which will play Auckland.
