WELLINGTON v. WANGANUI.

More than ordinary interest lists been uaken in the above fixture, no doubt this being due to the fact that Wellington are oh their^ way to play Auckland for the champion shield, and also that Wanganui has challenged the winner. Those desirous of witnessing a good scientific game of hockey 'cannot no better than see this afternoon's game. The teams which are both strong combinations, will be represented as follows:— -, Wellington (amber and black).— Goalkeeper, Sanders; full backs, C. Hickson and L. Brewer; halves, Exley, Campbell, E. Christie; forwards, Smythe (captain), Dixon. Thomson, Elliott, Willis. :■'■- Wanganui (red and black).—Goalkeeper, W. G. Miller; full backs, E. C. Hardwicke and A. 0. Cave; halves, E. Q. Haaee, G. Fear, J. Bannister; forwards, W. R. G. Thomson, H. G. Brodie, J. Soler, A. H. Coe, and E. J. Williams. Mr R. Wakely will referee. The match will start at 3.30 sharp.'
