A HARD GAME.

The Britishers' final match was a hard and fast one. Play at times, especially in the second spell, was very rough. McEvedy the British skipper, had his collar bone broken. The Qupenslanders displayed much better fornl and combination than in the first match. The first half ended three all, Gibbs for Britain .and Gallacher for Queensland scoring tries.
Queensland opened the seconil spell Avith a brilliant attack, ending in Maher getting overthrown when : converting The final stages were exciting the weight and better combination of the visitors eventually telling, against the stubborn and clsver defence. Williams and Gibhs were responsible for tries and Dyke converted the latter.
