TECHNICAL SCHOOL.
NEW QUARTER OPENS TONIGHT.
The new quarter at the Technical ■School opens this' evening^ and intending students should make a point of attending. The value of the tuition received at the Technical School cannot bo over-estimated. Hundreds of young people have passed through the school, and many are now filling positions which would otherwise have been unobtainable. .
The photographic class commences a new series of lectures and demonstrations on Tuesday evening next, at 7.30. The class is a deservedly popular one, practical demonstrations being given on the following subjects correcting defective negatives, intensifying and reducing, printing in P.0.P., platmotype, carbon, oil, ozotype, ozobrome, and other processes, also broiniide printing, toning, enlarging, etc. Demonstrations will also be given in. the wonderful new process of obtaining natural colour positives. As only a limited number of pupils can be accommodated, early application to the director or to the instructor (Mr T. W. Downes) is necessary. ■ The new term also commences in the other evening classes, including engineering, commercial, domestic, and scientific, and other branches..
