CHRISTCHURCH, May -21 At the Supreme Court to-day' James inompson was sentenced to 2 years imprisonment for attempting to set -fire to the Cafe de Paris Hotel building on February' 13th. The Crown prosecutor said there was grave reason to believe the accused was concerned in other attempts at fire raising which occured the same night. - David Whytoek, a middle-aged man, was sentenced to five years imprisonment for indecent assault.
