AUCKLAND, March 10. The Harbourmaster at Hokianga adyises the- Collector of Customs (Mr. J Mills) as follows:—" Reported found on the beach at Whangamumu, yesterday, ono cabin door, painted white inside and brown outside; also further pieces ot wreckage. It is believed that the wreckage is from some scow.'' Tho gale of Saturday and Sunday has been succeeded by warm "calm .weather, and the vessels that wore sheltering along the coast are resuming their voyage.
The barque Geni received a severe pornding at the Railway ' Wharf on Suud iv Several of her hull plates ycr-j badly damaged, and it is estimated that the repairs will run into about £—*JO.
