Mr. Cooper i*ras the clref speaker, and detailed tho - Kioftiands of the Shearers' -Union and theobjections formulated' by "the Fanners* -,union to tMsa demands. I The following resolutions were unanimously passed: "That this meeting' agrees to support the programme of the I Executive of the Farmers' Union • and •agrees to appb-int JVIr. Cooper as their v representative before the Arbitration Ooutrt and object to appear before tho Conciliation Board; that this meetine agrees to pay fivo shillings p ßr 1000 sheep towards the expensaa cf defendincr the farmers' casein the Court." Papem were numerously'signed agreeing to this, course.
