OPERA HOUSE.
"OULD IRELAND."
The Taylor-Carringtion. management will present the ,above-niamcd play on their visit to Wangaaiui next Friday evoning. In noticing-the production ®2 th;s drama in Napier/ -tho "Hawke;s Bay Herald" said:—"Mr. Taylor and Mfe.i Carringtcr.l are wonderfully clover managjers. for they know the tasto of then- audiences here in Napiev to a nicety, and by giving them exactly the kind of play they like. Crowded houses arc! the rule whenever the Taylor-CaiT-rington Company visits us. "Ould Ire- , land" is' full of fun, sentime-nt, niid sensation, and is beautifully illustrated by. very realistic scenic views of the beauty spots of Ireland. There is some
vovj good singing and dancing in the picw, and Mr Charlio Taylor, as "Shady Brady," gives ia thoi-ougtoly up-to-date performance, of the stage irishman, as lie is now presented, not as he was. Mies Mia Carrington as a Dutch girl causes great amusement, and Mr. C. Keegan's "St. Browne" is a screamingly funny performance. °
