\n interesting function was also held at St. John's School. At 2 o'clock the children, under the .leadership of Miss O'Brien sang three choruses suitable to the occasion. The Rev. E. Drake then delivered an appropriate address on plant 'life, showing the lessons to be learned by the children. The children sang the National Anthem, and then ■adjourned to the school garden, where they planted two dozen rose trees and ...a number of Ibulbs.
