The prosecution in the bigamy case broke down very unexpectedly in the Supreme Court this morning. Daly in- the same certificate. His Honourj after scrutinising the certificate, remarked that it was a strange blunder and commented upon the gross carelessness of some official which led to a breakdown in the prosecution. The Crown Prosecutor intimated that he could go no further in the case, and His Honour directed the jury to acquit the accused, which was done, and Daly was discharged. . PALMERSTON N., June 11.
