INQUEST.
DUNEDIN, June 11. At the inquest touching the death of the infant child of G. P. Campbell, Dr. Evans gave, as the result of a post mortem, the opinion that death was due to suffocation, probably caused through the child sleeping in the same bed -with the mother. The jury returned a verdict of death by suffocation, the ovidenco being insufficient to show how caused.
