STRANGE EXPERIENCE AT SEA.

AUCKLAND, June 10
On May 31st, in Lat. 12.32 East, Long. 173.23 West, the barque Drammerseen from Maiden Island to Auckland, experienced a sudden shock from stem to "stern, completely stopping the vessel for four or five minutes. A report, very loud, was heard in the distance.
