FATAL TRAP ACCIDENT.
NAPIER, June 10. A fatal trap accident occurred at Petane this evening. A trap containing 'two married ladies named Marshall, and tho infant son of one of them, was proceeding through a cutting near Wairoatai, a short distance from Petane, when the horeo attached to tho trap commenced kicking, with the result that tho vehicle was capsized and the occupants thrown out. Tho 'baby Tyas killed instantaneously, the skull being fractured. The child was ten months old.
